French technology giant Thales will be hiring 550 people for its engineering centres in Bengaluru, India and Noida this year, reports The Times of India.
The company is looking for hardware and software engineers, system architects, project managers, and digital technology experts to fill both permanent and fixed-term contract roles, it says in a statement. There will be opportunities for internal mobility across its offices in India and abroad, the statement adds.
Thales opened its first design centre in India last week, which is an extension of its engineering centre in Noida, the report says.
The firm is hiring for its core businesses in aerospace, defence and security, and digital identity across the world, including in countries like France, the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia, apart from India. It plans to hire 12,000 people worldwide in 2023, the report adds.
